Joshi Foundation presents Anti-Drug folder to CM Khattar. Khattar praises Anti-Drugs initiative of Khanna, Sampla and Joshi.
Drug Addiction is a challenge for society, which could be checked with collaborative effort of Parents, Society and Government, opined Chief Minister Haryana Sh Manohar lal Khattar, today early morning when National Vice President Bharatiya Janata Party & MP Avinash Rai Khanna and Chairman Joshi Foundation and asst Media Adviosr Punjab Vineet Joshi presented an Anti-Drug awareness folder.
Drug abusers often try to conceal their symptoms and downplay their problem which often escalates the problem. “This tendency is likely to be addressed with this initiative. The folders talks about changes in appetite or sleep patterns, sudden weight loss or weight gain, unusual smells on breath, body or clothing, slurred speech, demand for more privacy which could be some significant indications that could assist in identification of a drug abuser,” Khanna and Joshi said. The folder drafted to educate the parents about early signs of drug addiction details Physical, Behavioral, Psychological and Physical warning signs of drug abuse added Khanna & Joshi
The leaders said these folders will be distributed among parents to ensure identification and intervention by members of the civil society to help people battling drugs. These would also be widely circulated in schools, educational institutes, industrial workplaces, markers, bus stands etc.
